DESCRIPTION: Nortak Software is currently seeking Intermediate Programmer/Software Developers with the following qualifications:
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Level 2 A.6 Programmer/Software Developer
- Minimum 5 years of experience, within the last 10 years, with hands-on software development and coding using C#
- Minimum 5 years of experience, within the last 10 years, with commercial software product development, cloud software application development for business use based on commercial cloud PaaS, and/or core business operations application development
- Minimum 2 years of experience, within the last 5 years, with hands-on microservices development as the primary or intermediate developer
- Minimum 5 years of experience, within the last 10 years, implementing software solutions using established design patterns and contract-first development practices, where formal specifications (e.g., API contracts, interface definitions, and schemas) drive design, development, testing, and integration
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the last 6 years with Messaging Bus (Azure Service bus), Serverless computing (Azure Functions), and/or Multi-model Database (Azure Cosmos)
- Valid Government of Canada Secret Level II security clearance granted by CSP/PSPC
RATED CRITERIA:
- 3 years of experience with Visual Studio and Visual Code
- 2 years of experience with DevOps cycle (Azure DevOps) including repositories, pipelines, and artifacts
- 1 year of experience with development of Graph QL
- 2 years of experience with Event-driven (Microservices) software development

- Hybrid: Ottawa and Remote
